Malaysia's Second Influenza A (H1N1) Case Detected At Penang Hospital

PULAU PINANG, May 16 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's second Influenza A (H1N1) case has been detected in Penang Hospital, also a student who returned from the United States along with the first case detected yesterday in Selangor, Deputy Director-General of Health Datuk Dr Ramlee Rahmat told a news conference in Putrajaya today.

The student, a friend of the first patient, had travelled on the same flight -- Malaysia Airlines MH091 from Newark, United States -- which arrived at the KL International Airport on Wednesday, and was admitted to the hospital yesterday and confirmed this morning as having been infected by the virus, he said.
